Devastating flash floods and landslides triggered by relentless monsoon rains across Nepal have left survivors grappling with the widespread destruction of their homes, livelihoods, and communities. In low-lying settlements and riverbank neighborhoods, receding floodwaters have uncovered scenes of utter desolation, with houses submerged in deep mud, critical bridges washed away, and families sifting through thick debris in search of any remaining personal belongings.

Emergency responders, security forces, and volunteer search-and-rescue teams continue recovery operations across hard-hit districts, navigating severe logistical challenges caused by blocked highways and ruptured infrastructure. With hundreds of families displaced and taking refuge in makeshift shelters and community centers, relief agencies have warned of urgent shortages of clean drinking water, food supplies, and essential medicines, alongside an escalating risk of waterborne diseases as communities begin the slow, arduous process of rebuilding.
