Current Weather Conditions in Nepal
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted partly cloudy weather in several mountainous and hilly regions of Nepal due to the influence of westerly winds.
According to the Division, mountainous areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces will experience partly cloudy conditions. Other provinces are expected to have generally clear weather.
During the afternoon, hilly and mountainous regions may remain partly cloudy, while the remaining areas are likely to experience clear skies.
There is also a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall at a few places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces. Some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki may also receive light rain.
During the night, mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces are expected to remain cloudy. Other regions will mostly have clear weather. Light rain and snowfall may occur at a few mountainous locations in Koshi Province.
The Division has also warned of possible mist and fog in some parts of the Tarai and Kathmandu Valley during the morning.
Overall, weather conditions are expected to remain mostly clear in several parts of the country, with clouds and light precipitation in some regions.
