Koirala Announces Nationwide Campaign for Party Unity

Nepali Congress leader Shekhar Koirala has announced a nationwide campaign to strengthen unity within the party amid growing internal divisions.

In a statement issued Thursday, Koirala said he would focus on bringing party members together rather than blaming any particular faction. He stressed that collective efforts were essential to preserving the party’s unity and advancing the country’s development.

Koirala said he plans to travel across the country and meet party workers at the grassroots level. He also called on Nepali Congress members, including those living abroad, to remain committed to strengthening the party.

Linking party unity with nation-building, Koirala said he would continue engaging with members in villages and other communities as part of the campaign.
