46 Nepalis were repatriated from Cambodia
The government has repatriated 46 Nepalis from Cambodia. The Nepali Embassy in Thailand rescued Nepalis living illegally in Cambodia and sent them back home. The embassy sent the Nepalis rescued from Cambodia back home on 30 Chaitra and 1 Baisakh. The embassy stated that 46 Nepalis, who were lured through various means to Cambodia and involved illegally in online scamming centers, online fraud in casinos, and other illegal activities, and were staying there without a visa, were rescued. The embassy also stated that efforts are underway to bring back other Nepalis stranded in Cambodia.
