Mayor Dangal was welcomed by the mayor of Cannes

Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s acting mayor Sunita Dangol was welcomed at the City Hall by Cannes Mayor David Lisnard before the red-carpet ceremony of the 79th Cannes Film Festival. During the bilateral meeting on that occasion, they discussed the relationship between the two UNESCO-recognized Creative Cities for film. The Metropolitan City expressed gratitude to Mayor Lisnard and the city of Cannes for their hospitality and cooperation, and conveyed hope that the dialogue initiated here will continue in the future.
