Kathmandu experiences a huge drop down in temperature

Temperature in Kathmandu Valley has been constantly dropping. The tendency is expected to continue, according to meteorologists. But the weather will continue to be pleasant. Saroj Pudasaini, a meteorologist, said that this morning’s lowest temperature was 3.9 degrees Celsius. Today’s high will be in the range of 17 to 19 degrees Celsius. Sunrise occurred at 6:45 p.m. today, and sunset is at 5:10 p.m. The weather of the nation will be partly cloudy overcast in the mountainous regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, confirmed by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s regular weather bulletin.
In a same vein, there will be haze in certain areas and foggy conditions in several Terai and Kathmandu Valley locations. The Meteorological Forecasting Division predicts that tonight’s weather will be partly overcast in sections of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki, Lumbini, Bagmati, and Koshi provinces, as well as partly cloudy in the mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Given the fog in many areas of the Terai and Valley on Friday morning, the Department has asked everyone involved to take the appropriate precautions.
