RSP Lawmakers Urge PM to Address Sudurpashchim Development Issues

A delegation of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) lawmakers from Sudurpashchim Province met Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, calling for swift action on key development projects and regional issues.

The lawmakers urged the government to expedite the operationalisation of Geta University, the Pancheshwar Multipurpose and West Seti hydropower projects, and construction of the Postal Highway and Dhangadhi–Khutiya–Dipayal Fast Track.

They also raised concerns over stray cattle management in Kailali and Kanchanpur, fair paddy procurement prices, river embankments in Dodhara-Chandani, customs management, rural electrification, and compensation for families displaced by wildlife reserves.

The delegation included MPs Tara Prasad Joshi, Khemraj Koirala, Hari Mohan Bhandari, Janak Singh Dhami, Komal Gyawali, Gyanendra Mahata, Jagat Joshi, and KP Khanal.
