‘Gaunthali’ Enters Second Week in US Theatres

‘Gaunthali’ has started its theatrical run in the United States and is currently in its second week in local theatres with a growing number of viewers.

Since the movie’s July 17 premiere in Nepal, further screenings have been added in a number of theatres due to the favourable reviews. Citing the official reporting system of the Film Development Board, the production team stated that occupancy has consistently improved, despite not disclosing box office data.One week after its domestic premiere, on July 24, Gaunthali, which was distributed in the US by Seven Seas International Films, started showing in major US cities.

Arun Chhetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Luniva Tuladhar, and Rabindra Jha are among the actors in the Kapil Rijal-directed movie. The film, which is based on a story by Bhola Rijal, focuses on family, relationships, and belonging.
