Weather in hilly area is expected to be mostly overcast

Westerly and local winds are having an impact on the country’s western and central belts. Nonetheless, the Weather Forecasting Division reports that monsoon winds affect the majority of Koshi Province. According to the weather office, there will be mostly gloomy conditions in the hilly areas of Koshi and Lumbini Provinces, but clear weather is expected elsewhere. There may be some lightning and thunder along with light rain in the hilly areas.

Similarly, light rain and snowfall are predicted for only a few locations in the upper hills and mountainous regions. Koshi, Lumbini, and Gandaki Provinces will experience partly to generally cloudy weather this evening, while the remainder of the region will continue to experience fair to partly cloudy conditions. The Division also said that light rain and snowfall are expected in Karnali Province’s upper hills and mountainous areas.
