Nepalgunj looks lovely when the bougainvillea is in bloom

Recently, social media has gone viral for the bright, colorful bougainvillea blossoming on the greenbelt of Surkhet Road bordering Nepalgunj’s four-lane highway. Stunning images and videos of these vibrant blooms have drawn a lot of attention from individuals who want to document this lovely scene. Following the four-lane road’s expansion, the coordinator of the “Clean Nepalgunj, Green Nepalgunj” campaign reported that they had planted a variety of flower species, including bougainvillea, in the greenbelt. Now that these flowers have begun to bloom, Nepalgunj’s attractiveness has been greatly enhanced. The first phase, according to Dr. Karna, involved planting flowers from Karkado Chowk to the Police Gym Center; the second phase involved planting flowers from B.P. Chowk to Ganeshman Chowk via the Forest Office; and the third phase involved planting flowers from B.P. Chowk to the Civil Aviation Corporation Office.
He brought out the difficulty of keeping stray animals away from plants through regular watering and animal deterrent measures. In the majority of the greenbelt, plants are now flourishing. According to civil society leader Krishna Prasad Shrestha, Nepalgunj has received a lot of attention as a result of the viral flowers. Environmental activist Hemant Raj Kafle expressed his excitement at seeing the plants thriving, bringing beauty to the city. The mayor of Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City, Prashant Bista, gave his word that the city is taking extra care to protect the trees and flowers along the four-lane road’s greenbelt. He also mentioned that the sub-metropolis watered the plants on a regular basis and maintains the fencing.
