Flight is impacted by low visibility

The dense fog has made it difficult to see when flying at Nepalgunj Airport. Rinki Mallik, the traffic controller at the Civil Aviation Office in Nepalgunj, stated that the haze has negatively impacted visibility, causing air flights to and from the airport to be disrupted. There is only 50 meters of light visibility.
About fifty flights per day to and from the hilly districts, Pokhara city, and the federal capital, Kathmandu, have been disrupted as a result. According to Mallik, visibility must be at least 1,000 meters for takeoff and 1,600 meters for landing. The flight cancellations have left passengers stranded as they travel to the federal capital and hilly districts.
