Thapa, Oli Hold Talks on Political Developments
Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa met CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli at the latter’s residence in Gundu on Tuesday evening to discuss contemporary political developments and the ongoing crisis in the Madhesh Province government.
The meeting, which lasted for over an hour, focused on the government’s performance, the opposition’s role in Parliament and possible ways to resolve the political crisis in Madhesh.
According to sources, Thapa reached Oli’s residence around 7 pm and left shortly after 8 pm. The meeting was reportedly held at Thapa’s request, despite his previous criticism of Oli.
