Rising Water Levels Threaten CPN-UML Office in Chyasal

Home Minister Sudhan Gurung visited the CPN-UML central office in Chyasal on Wednesday to assess the situation as continuous rainfall caused water levels in the Manohara and Bagmati rivers to rise.

Officials said the rising waters were threatening to overflow their banks, raising the risk of flooding at the UML office premises. The site had also been affected by flooding last year after the Manohara River overflowed into the complex.
