Bills Tabled in House of Representatives
The ‘National Defense University Bill, 2026’ was tabled in the House of Representatives on Tuesday by Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sobita Gautam on behalf of Prime Minister and Defense Minister Balen Shah.
Minister Gautam also presented a motion to consider the ‘Bill to Revive Certain Provisions of Some Nepal Acts, 2026’. Meanwhile, Education, Health and Information Technology Committee Chair Ojaswi Sherchan presented the committee report on the ‘National Forensic Science Laboratory (Establishment and Operation) Bill, 2026’.
Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal also introduced the ‘Diploma Engineering Council Bill, 2026’ in the House.
