Commercial production of the Sanjen Hydropower Project is going to start

The national grid has been commercially supplied with the electricity produced by the Sanjen Hydropower Project. Sanjen Hydroelectric Company Limited, a division of Chilime Hydropower Company Limited, is responsible for the development of the Sanjen Project, which has a 42.5MW capacity.

The project is situated in the Rasuwa district at Aama Chhodingmo-5. Following the completion of all technical and related testing, the Project’s electricity was transferred to the National Grid on Monday night. Since November 23, the Project has been carrying on with test production from its first unit.
