More than 33,000 tourist visit the Annapurna region, Nepal blooming again

The number of international tourists to the Annapurna Conservation Area has significantly increased; in October alone, 33,310 people visited. According to the ACAP, 11,678 of these visitors were from South Asian countries, with the rest 21,632 traveling from other countries. According to Dr. Rabin Kadel, since mid-July, there have been 83,031 international visitors overall, a notable increase over the 67,442 that occurred during the same time previous year. It is anticipated that over 250,000 visitors would visit the region this fiscal year, up from 222,180 in the previous one.
With 30,732 visits in only one month, the number of tourists has significantly climbed since mid-September. There is more activity on the Annapurna Circuit and at important locations like Tilicho Lake, Mardi Himal, and Annapurna Base Camp. The region’s beautiful scenery, biodiversity, Himalayan culture, and advanced hiking infrastructure are what draw travelers. The Annapurna Conservation Area, which covers 7,600 square kilometers, is renowned for its magnificent scenery, abundant wildlife, and lively Himalayan culture.
