The Nepali Congress CWC is meeting today
The Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress will meet at the party’s central office at 1 pm on Monday to discuss issues to be raised by Nepal at the United Nations and provide suggestions to Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
The meeting is also expected to consider rescheduling the ward convention scheduled for September 9 due to floods and landslides in the Bhotekoshi region.
At Sunday’s meeting in Lalitpur, party president Gagan Kumar Thapa briefed members on his recent visit to flood-affected areas and his discussions with victims. Seventeen leaders spoke during the session, sharing their views on the issues before the party.
