Government Seeks Stakeholder Input on Education Reforms
Minister of Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel has said the government will pursue sustainable reforms in the education sector through dialogue, evidence and stakeholder participation.
The ministry is conducting Education Dialogue programmes across all seven provinces to gather suggestions from local governments, teachers, parents, schools and students. Stakeholders unable to attend can also submit recommendations through an online form.The government is also collecting feedback on the proposed Education Bill, while an expert team is finalising revisions to the National Curriculum Framework.
Pokharel said the ministry aims to finalise the Education Bill soon by incorporating stakeholder concerns, expert advice and evidence-based recommendations.
