Five operating one-way routes & six major routes blocked by landslides
Floods and landslides brought on by the country’s constant rains have completely blocked six important thoroughfares. According to the Nepal Police Headquarters, natural calamities caused the Mechi Highway in Panchthar and the Tamor-Corridor road segment to be stopped, while the Koshi Highway in Sankhuwasabha was shut. Other routes blocked by the landslides are the Jajarkot-Dolpa Bheri Corridor in Rukum West, the Shahid Highway in Rolpa, and the Kaligandaki Corridor in Nawalparasi East.
Similar to this, the Shahid Highway at Pariwartan rural municipality in Rolpa, the Tokha-Nuwakot route, the Kaligandaki Corridor in Baglung, the Mid Hill Highway in Galkot of Baglung, the Kaligandaki Corridor in Nawalparasi East, and the Kaligandaki Corridor in Nawalparasi East are all partially blocked, permitting one-way traffic.
