When cars arrive in Kudi village, the locals are ecstatic

When a car arrived in Himali Rural Municipality-5, Kudi, for the first time, the locals were ecstatic. Since the road system now offers residents much more convenient transportation options, this represents a significant milestone for the village. The rural municipality has worked tirelessly to connect Kudi village to a road network, which should make life easier for the residents. Villagers used to have to walk all day to get to the municipal office. The locals are very happy that the trip now only takes an hour. Residents of Kudi had been waiting for vehicles to arrive in their village for a long time, even though they had been moving around the municipality.

Lalmani Rokaya, 75, has had his dream come true with the arrival of a car. Several wards still lacked road access because of geographic difficulties. According to Gobinda Bahadur Malla, the chair of the rural municipality, vehicles have begun to arrive in Kudi village for the first time following years of consistent efforts to build roads. Tractors and Jeeps have recently begun to operate in the area. Similarly, attempts are being made to provide road access to additional wards within the municipality.
