The most recent HoR election vote total: In 70 constituencies, the RSP has the most votes
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is currently dominating the election results for the House of Representatives, leading in 70 out of 94 constituencies as of 2:00 PM on Thursday, according to the Election Commission’s vote count. While RSP is ahead in a substantial number of districts, the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), and the Nepali Communist Party each hold a lead in six constituencies. Additionally, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, the Pragatisheel Lokatantrik Party, and the Shram Sanskriti Party have reported leads in one constituency each, alongside independent candidates also securing a lead in one constituency. So far, the election has resulted in victories for RSP’s Ranju Darshana from Kathmandu Constituency No. 1, who received 15,455 votes, and Yogesh Gauchan Thakali from the Nepali Congress, who won in Mustang with 3,307 votes. The vote counting process remains ongoing as officials work through the remaining constituencies.
