RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane Embarks on Five-Day Official Visit to India

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane departed for India on Monday for a five-day official visit. The trip comes at the formal invitation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nitin Navin. Lamichhane is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including his wife Nikita Poudel, RSP Co-General Secretary and Member of Parliament Bipin Kumar Acharya, Secretariat member and lawmaker Deepak Bohora, and Pradeep Acharya. According to RSP spokesperson Manish Jha, the delegation will be stationed in New Delhi from June 1 to June 5 to conduct a series of high-level political and diplomatic briefings.

The itinerary for the five-day visit is packed with crucial engagements. The RSP delegation is scheduled to hold extensive discussions with BJP President Nitin Navin and other senior leaders of India’s ruling party. Beyond political dialogues, Lamichhane will interact with members of the Nepali diaspora community and party well-wishers living in India. Additionally, the RSP Chairman is slated to visit the historic city of Ayodhya during his stay.

The Nepali Embassy in New Delhi is actively coordinating all high-level meetings and logistical arrangements for the delegation. This visit, which was also officially announced by the BJP ahead of Lamichhane’s departure, is being viewed as a crucial step for the young Nepali political party to build and strengthen its cross-border diplomatic ties and political relations with India’s leadership.
