Leopards captured via trap at Anbukhaireni market area

A leopard was sighted in the market area of Ambukhaireni rural municipality-3 of Tanahun, and a trap has been placed to capture it. Two leopards were spotted in a tree near Ambukhaireni Chowk on Friday. After a leopard was observed in the market area, the Division Forest Office Tanahun took the initiative to set up the trap. The cages that the Forest Office brought have been positioned in the region where leopards have been sighted, according to Ambukhaireni-3 Ward President Dinesh KC. The second leopard in the area is frightening the locals, even though the first one fled right away. The market area has seen a rise in leopard phobia, and ward residents have been advised not to go outdoors by themselves, particularly in the early morning and nighttime, according to Ward President KC.
