Government Announces Nationwide Work-From-Home Policy

As the crisis of petroleum products increases, the government has urged employees to work from home. The Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday urged working from home due to the crisis seen in petroleum products. Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Pratibha Raval, said that the government has urged its citizens to focus on work from home and electric vehicles. The government has already given a two-day public holiday in government offices and educational institutions and is discussing implementing an odd-even system for vehicles as well. To reduce the consumption of petroleum products, a public holiday was declared on Sunday, the academic session was started from Baisakh 15, and the fuel quota has been reduced. If necessary, the government will also implement the odd-even system. The government urges people to increase work from home and the use of electric vehicles, Minister Raval said while announcing the Cabinet decision. Similarly, the government has urged everyone to be disciplined and united.
