SKy watcher gonna mesmerise by the nepal’s summer sky
On summer evenings, skywatchers can take in the sights of planets, stars, constellations, and celestial wonders such as Jupiter, Mars, and the Beehive cluster in the Cancer and Taurus constellations, as well as after sunset. In the eastern sky, you may see Aldebaran, Saturn, Neptune, Venus, Mercury, and Uranus, but all disappear as the day begins. On May 31, Venus reaches its eastern elongation as it passes into Taurus. Do not parse close to the Sun. May 12 is a full moon betide, while May 27 is a flower full moon. The eastern sky is home to asteroids 4 Vesta and 9 Metis, which rise in the south and dip towards the west. On May 2 and 9, they had a tight tryst with Earth.
Up to 60 meteors per hour are predicted to be produced by the 2025 Eta Aquarids meteor shower, which is said to have been caused by debris from comet 1P/Halley. The radiant meteor shower is a celestial phenomenon that takes place in the constellation Aquarius and lasts from April 15 to May 27. The shower takes place in the night before dawn and is named after the star Eta Aquarii, which is about 170 light-years away. Since its discovery in 1985/86, Halley’s Comet—which is currently descending back towards the Sun—has been the subject of research since 240 BCE. On the exoplanet K2-18b, which is 124 light-years from Earth, astronomers have found evidence of life, suggesting that it could host life due to its hydrogen-rich atmosphere and abundant water supplies.
