In Lumbini, PM Oli opens an international seminar

International Seminar on Nepal-China Buddhist Culture and Art was officially opened on Saturday in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The International Seminar on Nepal-China Buddhist Culture and Art, which will be hosted by Lumbini Buddhist University, was officially opened by PM Oli. To strengthen the cultural ties between China and Nepal, Lumbini has hosted this festival for the fourth time.
The University claims that the seminar would provide a forum for academic discussion on how China and Nepal may preserve and innovate their Buddhist cultural legacy. It is anticipated to examine how Buddhist literature, art, history, and cross-cultural interactions intertwine. Over 5,000 participants and representatives from 40 nations are expected to attend the festival, according to the organizers. Lumbini Buddhist University will host the worldwide seminar.
