Nepal’s growth and prosperity are based on tourism

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, has urged the expansion of Nepal’s tourism sector, highlighting its huge potential for the country’s development. She said this during a retreat for the chiefs of foreign embassies in Nepal and leaders of other international organizations that was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Antu and Kanyam in Ilam. Dr. Rana commended Nepal’s biodiversity and legacy, mountain ranges, attractiveness, greenery, and cultural and natural diversity. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she advised everyone to enjoy the tea gardens, pure air, customs, and way of life of the tourist destination, Ilam, which she characterized as a region of tea plantations, mist-covered mountains, and friendly locals.

In addition to encouraging visiting diplomats to become ambassadors and to recognize Nepal’s distinctive cultural and natural beauties, Dr. Rana called on the international community to invest in the country’s infrastructure and tourism. The visiting officials watched the dawn from the summit of the mountain and took pictures of Kanyam’s splendor and the allure of the tea fields. The Suryodaya Municipality of Ilam and the Nepal Tourism Board co-organized the event with the goal of introducing the world to Nepal’s diverse culture, stunning scenery, and kind hospitality. The program, which was held in conjunction with the Nepali New Year in 2082, aimed to promote tourism in Nepal by showcasing Ilam’s natural and cultural beauty and vicinity.
