Water Minister gives the order to finish the Melamchi “pipeline” construction

Pradeep Yadav, the minister of water supply, has ordered that the pipeline that would provide Melamchi water to different locations in the Kathmandu Valley be finished as soon as possible. After examining the ongoing pipeline construction in the nearby Indra Chowk, Janawahal regions, New Road, Asan, and other locations, he issued these directives. He emphasized the need of containing the leak.
Minister Yadav has ordered that the water leaky areas be fixed as quickly as possible, claiming that the water was leaking in several locations due to a lack of quality assurance. Minister Yadav was joined by Pramila Debi Sakya Bajracharya, the secretary of the Ministry of Water Supply, and a senior official from the Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Limited’s PID.
