Today marks the start of Wildlife Awareness Week

Beginning today, community-based awareness campaigns for animal conservation are being organized as part of the celebration of animal Week. To raise community knowledge of wildlife and the value of conservation, the Chitwan National Park and Buffer Zone Management Committee will host a number of events and activities throughout the week. A flag is being raised in the park office today to kick off Wildlife Week, and over the next seven days, other community awareness-raising events will be held, according to Abinash Thapa Magar, the information officer for Chitwan National Park.
According to him, conservation efforts will be successful if we can effectively communicate the value of animals at the local level. There will be less poaching and less conflict between people and wildlife. Since the community is crucial to the preservation of wildlife, plants, and animals, Wildlife Awareness Week has been crucial in pointing the community in the direction of conservation.
