There will be four weekly scheduled flights from Phaplu to Kathmandu

Nepal Airlines is launching four weekly flights from Phaplu Airport in Salleri, Solukhumbu, to Kathmandu, operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Phaplu-Kathmandu air services, previously suspended due to aircraft technical glitches, are now back in operation after maintenance, according to CAAN senior official Bhanu Bhakta Acharya. Tenzing Sherpa, the Nepal Airlines station chief at Phalpu, stated that during mid-December 2024 to mid-April 2025, flight operations on this route had been totally halted.

In the past, aircraft disruptions led to a number of issues with travel, business, emergency care, and necessary duties. The return of airplanes to the tourist sector has thrilled tourism business owners, according to Karma Sherpa, senior vice president of TAAN.
