There is potential for tourism at Myagdi’s Mohare Danda
The final stage of a hospital building construction has been completed, with the Health Minister presenting a proposal to manage 49 health workers, including 11th-level specialists. Ward Chair Kham Bahadur Garbuja states that the local government is prioritizing the development of tourism infrastructure, including trekking trails, to enhance Mohare’s tourism appeal. The Dhaulagiri-Annapurna Community Trek, a scenic rural trek, offers stunning views of Magar culture and Himalayan vistas, and can be reached from Jaljala Rural Municipality.
A community-run lodge that can house more than 60 people has been set up to serve guests. According to Garbuja, travelers frequently continue their journey to Mohare Danda after visiting Ghorepani and Poon Hill. He claims that visitors frequently walk for thirty minutes to go to Kokhe Danda, which is located in Ward No. 1 of the Modi Rural Municipality, Parbat, after arriving at Mohare Danda. Kokhe Danda, which is 3,309 meters above sea level, has also been built as a tourist attraction.
