The President’s appeal to invest in Nepal
President Ramchandra Paudel has stated that there is immense potential for investment in Nepal and urged the officials of the Non-Resident Nepali Association to make use of investment opportunities in Nepal during a meeting. He mentioned that there is significant potential for investment in sectors such as hydropower, tourism, agriculture, infrastructure, information and communication, education, and health in Nepal. President Paudel emphasized the need for Nepal to focus on infrastructure and industrialization for economic development, taking advantage of large markets like India and China. He also noted that in the current political scenario, the mandate of the people has been received to move towards development and prosperity while considering social justice and good governance. In this context, the president of the Association, Dr. Hemraj Sharma, provided information about the activities and plans of the Association.
