Teej a symbol of love, affection and creativity, says Prez Paudel
Agency: President Ramchandra Paudel has emphasized that the Teej festival should be preserved and promoted, as it embodies emotional bonds, love, affection, and creativity.
In his message on the occasion of Teej 2082 BS, the President extended best wishes for happiness, peace, and prosperity, as well as religious, cultural, and social harmony to all Nepali women at home and abroad.
He noted that the festival plays a vital role in fostering fraternity, harmony, mutual unity, patience, and dedication.
President Paudel further remarked that Teej inspires renewed energy in building a just and equitable society by eradicating all forms of injustice, including discrimination and violence against women.
