The district’s higher regions have seen snowfall, which has disrupted normal living here. According to local resident Angkanju Sherpa, snow has been falling since last night in the vicinity of Gufapokhari in Chainpur municipality-1. He added that since previous night, snowfall in Cavepokhari, Mangalare, Kimathanka, and Makalu has disrupted daily life. The region is still experiencing light rain and snowfall. Children, the elderly, and animals have been the most impacted by the increase in cold.
