Rs 40m is transacted during the industrial show

Monday marked the end of the ninth Bhaktapur industrial and cultural festival, which was held in conjunction with Bisket Jatra and the New Year. A transaction of Rs 40 million was reported during the festival. The festival, which had as its theme “New Year, New Thoughts: Bases of Progress,” drew in 300,000 attendees.

Agricultural products and tools, handicrafts, cars, electric goods, everyday necessities, clothing, and other items were made accessible during the 12-day event. The purchasers received discounts ranging from 20 to 50%. Even children’s recreational sports were supervised for the duration of the festival, according to Dipak Thapa, coordinator of the organizing committee.
