Both domestic and foreign tourists frequent the waterfall, which has been flowing since ancient times, before continuing on to Barpak. Thanks to social media advertising, the Rangrung Waterfall, a well-liked tourism destination in Barpak, has been drawing hundreds of tourists every day. Tourists visiting the Gorkha district headquarters frequently stop at the waterfall, which cascades through the forest for around 500 meters. The area has been acknowledged as a tourism destination by the Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality, which has included it in its policies and programs and even developed a DPR for it.
Chairperson Bhatta stated that since the municipality’s own budget is insufficient to cover everything, efforts are also being undertaken to secure more funding from the federal and provincial governments. According to Chairperson Bhatta, the rural municipality is working on the DPR to further arrange Rangrung Waterfall. The municipality is preserving and promoting Rangrung Waterfall, a popular tourist destination in Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality, due to its picturesque setting, energizing surroundings, and thundering water noises, which attract hundreds of visitors daily, including Gorkha residents.
