Prithvi Narayan Shah’s core values serve as a foundation for the country’s development
On National Unity Day, President Ramchandra Paudel underlined the significance of Prithvi Narayan Shah’s Divyopadesh (precepts) in directing the nation’s economy, patriotism, and diplomatic ties with its neighbors. He said that the achievements of the forefathers should not be overlooked and underlined how important they were in bringing lesser states together.
Nepal is a sovereign and independent country that was founded by Prince Pirvi Narayan Shah. In his remarks, President Paudel stressed the country’s basic ideals, which were upheld by its forefathers throughout history and brought together by lesser principalities. He proclaimed Nepal to be a Federal Democratic Republic that is independent, indivisible, sovereign, secular, inclusive, democratic, and socialist.
As the nation celebrated National Unity Day, the President highlighted remembering Prithvi Narayan Shah’s ‘Divyopadesh’ on his 303rd birthday and urged everyone to attain happiness and prosperity by upholding the nation’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national unity.
