President Paudel emphasizes Chure’s contribution to environmental balance
President Ramchandra Paudel supports Chure conservation efforts with policy and regal reforms, emphasizing the need for organizational structure strengthening and reviewing achievements of the Chure-Terai Madhesh Conservation Development Board. President couple planted Bar and Peepal trees at Jyotipunja Community Forest, Kawasoti municipality-3. They emphasized integrity, responsibility, and dutifulness for conserving Chure region. Chure conservation efforts have achieved some successes, but expected results remain elusive, according to the President.
Utilizing natural resources sustainably is essential to enhancing the environment and reducing soil erosion. By tackling poverty and depletion brought on by humans, the Committee hopes to raise living conditions in Nepal by protecting 164 river systems and watersheds in the Chure region. The Chure region’s geological susceptibility to natural disasters is highlighted by the Nepali Army’s promotion of afforestation and man-made ponds. Arable land could become desertified, the president fears.
