President calls on representatives of the people to work with those at the center

According to President Ramchandra Paudel, the organizations that continue to serve as the foundation of the Constitution and the democratic governance system should continue to prioritize development and the people. The Head of State made this statement today at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in Shital Niwas, during a meeting with the DCC’s Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs as well as the office-bearers of the Association of District Coordination Committees of Nepal. According to President Ramchandra Paudel, the organizations that continue to serve as the foundation of the Constitution and the democratic governance system should continue to prioritize development and the people. At the Rashtrapati Bhawan in Shital Niwas, the Head of State made this statement while meeting with the Chiefs and DC of the DCC as well as the office-bearers of the Association of District Coordination Committees of Nepal.
President Paudel urged the office-bearers of the Association, DC, and DCC Chiefs to increase their activism and role in monitoring and coordinating whether the work has been completed in accordance with the terms of reference, the budget, and the plan in order to bring the State’s attention. President Paudel noted that the constitution establishes federal, provincial, and local governments. He added that the district coordination committee was established with the crucial duty of keeping an eye on and preserving balance and coordination between rural municipalities and municipalities involved in development projects. On this occasion, the President also offered best wishes for the success of the Association’s 30th Foundation Day program.
