Plans were made to make it simple to pay respects to Pashupatinath on Mahashivaratri

The Pashupati area has seen an increase in the number of devotees, holy men, and tourists who come to pay their respects to Pashupatinath during the Mahashivaratri festival. In anticipation of the greatest number of devotees in more than ten years, PADT has made preparations. Under the direction of Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, the Mahashivaratri Festival Management Main Celebration Committee was established in order to celebrate the festival with enthusiasm and joy. Among other nations, devotees are traveling from Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bhutan, India, and Nepal.
According to Thapa, PADT has decided to open the Pashupatinath temple at 2 a.m. on Wednesday in order to organize the worship and obeisance to Pashupatinath in a methodical way. In a similar vein, plans and coordination have been established for the delivery of medical services. There would be dharamshalas on the temple grounds where sadhus and holy men could stay. According to PADT, plans have been made for free lodging and food in Hangshamandap, Bankali, and other locations in addition to Tilganga.
