Pilgrim amenities have been provided to the Muktinath Temple

The well-known pilgrimage site Muktinath Temple in Mustang has renovated its entrance and grounds with the help of the social office, laying stones without compromising the ancient building. After pilgrims slipped and fell, the Muktinath Management Committee tiled 3,140 square feet of the temple grounds, including the hallowed pond and 108 spouts, with stone. With an emphasis on pilgrims’ concerns, the committee is constructing the amenities that are required from the temple entrance to the actual temple. According to Officer Bhusal, complaints are being immediately resolved, and the temple is being renovated to make it more comfortable for pilgrims.

Additionally, a donation-funded electric dispenser with 200 liters of purified hot water has been installed. Following previous incidents, Rabin Subedi, a staff member of the Muktinath Management Committee, states that the swimming area is now safer. Plans include for building more space, treating injuries right away, and enlisting the help of volunteers and police to respond to emergencies. A plan for the physical infrastructure, such as restrooms, locker rooms, and shelters, that can house 50,000 pilgrims has been prepared by the Muktinath Development Committee. An estimated 800,000 people visit the temple each year, and additional tourists from Nepal and other third-world nations are anticipated.
