Permits for spring mountaineering are being secured

Permits are now being issued for this year’s spring mountaineering. Eight mountaineering groups, comprising 18 women and 40 men, have been granted permission to climb a number of peaks, including the Annapurna-1, according to the Department of Tourism. Permission to go mountaineering this season has been granted to climbers from 24 countries, including Nepal. Permission to climb during the season has started to be granted, according to Department Director Liladhar Awasthi.
The climbing businesses are working on getting ready to oversee Everest climbing. Climbing summits, including Everest, is said to be best done in the spring. This season, a considerable number of foreigners come here to ascend the world’s summit. An ‘icefall doctor’ has been dispatched by the SPCC to clear the way for Mount Everest climbing in spring. To build the route from the base camp to the second camp of Mount Everest, the SPCC sent out a crew of ten people. In a similar vein, experienced climbers have lately been sent out to fix “ropes” from the second camp to the top of Everest. Ten Sherpa climbers, under the leadership of Ashok Lama, were sent by the Mountaineering Operators’ Association to secure the rope to the summit.
