“Parents in the Classroom Programme” a new initiative from a school

After assessing the educational standing of its pupils, a school in the Kohalpur Municipality started the “Parents in the Classroom Programme” to raise the standard of instruction. According to Kohalpur Secondary School headmaster Shankar Neupane, the program’s objectives were to update parents on their kids’ academic achievement and solicit ideas for raising educational standards. Kohalpur Secondary School is situated in Kohalpur-11, inside the town planning area, and is run by the Public Educational Guthi. According to Headmaster Neupane, the initiative was started to let parents visit the classroom and see how their kids were doing academically. He said that in order to improve the quality of education, the program would create a triangle interaction between parents, instructors, and students.

The school has seen that parents frequently don’t know about their kids’ education. In order to solve this, the school has mandated that parents come to class and keep up with their kids’ academic development. Support for the plan has come from parents who say it will greatly raise educational standards and promote active parental participation. Through this service, parents will have firsthand knowledge about their children’s learning. Dhanraj Yogi, whose kid is in seventh grade, commended the program, describing it as advantageous and successful. He thinks it will keep parents informed about what’s going on in the classroom and help regularize pupils’ attendance.
