New Routes Aim to Tap Growing Migrant Worker Demand

Nepal Airlines has announced new direct flights to Dammam and Kuwait, aiming to serve the rising number of Nepali workers in the Gulf region. The routes are expected to reduce travel time and lower costs for migrant families.

This move aligns with Nepal’s strategy to enhance aviation connectivity while supporting its overseas workforce. Over 1.5 million Nepalis work in the Middle East, primarily in construction, hospitality, and domestic services.

Given similar migration patterns in India and Bangladesh, this development is relevant to regional aviation watchers and diaspora families who frequently travel between South Asia and the Gulf.
