Ministry of Education requests that schools be open on holidays

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has requested that community schools continue their instruction and learning throughout the summer or winter breaks, as it is convenient for the school. According to a ministry news release, this request was made because to the effect that the March 2025 teacher and employee protest in Kathmandu had on student admission and instruction at community schools.

According to the government, in light of the Nepal Teachers’ Association’s pledge, it has asked all community schools to make the required preparations.
This request has been submitted on the grounds that it is desired to manage issues like absenteeism in schools brought on by employees’ and teachers’ participation in professional protests and maintain strong teacher morale in order to improve the school’s administrative arrangements.
