Mahindra Introduces Electric Origin SUVs BE 6 and XEV 9e in Chitwan
Mahindra has expanded its electric vehicle footprint in Nepal with the launch of its Electric Origin SUVs, BE 6 and XEV 9e, in Chitwan. The launch was organised by Agni Aastha Private Limited, a subsidiary of the Agni Group and the authorised distributor of Mahindra vehicles in Nepal, highlighting the company’s focus on promoting electric mobility beyond major urban centres.
The event, held in Bharatpur, brought together business leaders, EV enthusiasts, customers and media. Agni Group officials shared their long-term vision for sustainable and clean mobility in Nepal, while Mahindra representatives outlined the brand’s global Born Electric Vehicle roadmap and next-generation EV technology.
Built on Mahindra’s INGLO Electric Origin Architecture and powered by advanced MAIA technology, both models offer long driving ranges. The BE 6 delivers up to 543 km, while the XEV 9e offers up to 656 km on a single charge, supported by LFP batteries and an extended battery warranty.
The launch in Chitwan is part of a wider plan to introduce Mahindra’s electric SUVs across regional markets. Prices start at Rs 57 lakh for the BE 6 and Rs 69 lakh for the XEV 9e, with bookings now open.
