Koshi Police Honours DSP Kishor Lamsal as Best Officer

The Koshi Province Police Office in Biratnagar has recognized Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kishor Lamsal from the Area Police Office in Damak as the best police officer for the period from February to mid-March. This accolade is attributed to Lamsal’s high morale, strict adherence to departmental standards, and his effectiveness in various operations. His significant contributions include maintaining security during the March 5 House of Representatives election in Jhapa-5, preventing any untoward incidents, leading the recovery of a looted Mark 4 rifle, and overseeing the arrest of 19 suspects related to protests by Gen Z.

According to police records, Lamsal was instrumental in resolving all 10 protest-related cases out of a total of 35 registered between February 13 and March 14. Additionally, he coordinated the repair of a damaged police office, took decisive action against 217 motorcycles causing noise pollution, and played a crucial role in capturing 22 fugitives. These achievements underscore his commitment to law enforcement and community safety during critical periods of unrest.
