Japanese Ambassador Toru tours Birgunj’s places of worship
Maeda Toru, the Japanese ambassador to Nepal, has visited Birgunj’s medieval holy sites. From Simara airport, Ambassador Toru traveled straight to Birgunj’s historical and religious monuments. He spent this morning worshiping at Birgunj’s renowned Gahawamai Temple. The Japanese Ambassador, who came with Embassy personnel, is expected to visit Birgunj’s Ghantaghar and Ghadiarwa Pond. Ambassador Toru arrived in Birgunj as part of some work at the Birgunj Metropolitan City, according to Ganesh Aryal, the Chief District Officer of Parsa.
