International flights finally started flying from Gautam Buddha International Airport

Four airlines, including Nepal Airlines, have begun international flights from Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, bringing hope to Rupandehi’s tourism industry. After two and a half years since the airport’s opening, Nepal Airlines, Thai Air Asia, Jazeera, and Fly Dubai will fly. Thai Air Asia carried out a test flight on October 15th and a commercial flight on October 23rd yesterday.
Saturday at 7:30 a.m., the Jazeera Airways plane landed in Kuwait and returned at 8:30 a.m. Jazeera will fly from Bhairahawa three days a week. The Fly Dubai ship will arrive today at lunchtime. Dubai flight will operate seven days a week. The government has provided a 100 percent discount on aircraft landing, house shelter, parking, communication and aviation support, and security expenses. This airport serves as an alternative to Tribhuvan International Airport, with a capacity of 30 to 40 aircraft per day.
