International flights are diverted due to poor visibility

Today’s bad weather has an impact on flights at Tribhuvan International Airport. Due to poor visibility, more than six foreign planes were rerouted from TIA today to Bhairahawa and even India, according to TIA. According to TIA Spokesperson Rinji Sherpa, the bad weather had an impact on a number of flights, including those operated by Fly Dubai, Air India, and Jazeera Air, that were headed for overseas services. He said that certain planes were temporarily halted and that Jazeera Air and Air India were rerouted to Benaras, India, and Fly Dubai to Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa. Visibility was only 1600 meters this morning, according to TIA, which was not enough to meet the requirements for the flight landing.

Three thousand meters may now be seen. Visibility problems at the nation’s first international airport are due to dust and haze. The westerly wind is currently having a minor impact on the county, and one or two areas of the hilly Koshi and Gandaki provinces are expected to see light rain along with thunder and lightning. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, snowfall is also expected in one or two areas of mountain regions and high hills. With partial effects on roads, health, agriculture, and aviation services, this development is probably going to have an impact on people’s daily life. To prevent such hardships, the Department has advised everyone to adopt preventative measures.
